At the beginning of the summer Erin and I spent a few days with our friend Alecia in New York City. It was our first time and it didn’t disappoint. We were there for the four day heatwave in June. 95° and muggy as shit. It was awesome.
Our first day in the big city and I couldn’t help but continue to stare straight up and be spellbound.
We spent a half a day walking around the East Village in the heat, suffering with New Yorkers and enjoying every minute. We decided to take the train to the Jersey Shore for a night of respite and the experience. Drinking, dancing and pizza inhaling ensued. We did enjoy a few hours on the beach and getting our feet wet in the Atlantic ocean. After riding the train home and some much needed rest we spent a full day sweating around the city. The MoMA was stunning.
I’ve put together a brief picture book of our trip to NYC. You can view the slideshow online or grab a copy of the PDF.
